If you like to travel and your group consists of 2-3 people, then this catamaran will be the best solution for you.  Its robust design will ensure safety, with a spacious trampoline and cargo nets for luggage, together with additional equipment, the Ducky 17 is a comfortable cruiser. Also, this model may be relevant if you do not need to assemble-disassemble frequently.  Although the assembly of the catamaran is not difficult, it is not rational to use it as a “weekend boat”.  For these purposes, there are more suitable models – Ducky 16, Ducky 15 or Ducky 14S. NEW! For sports enthusiasts, a racing version of the model has been developed – Ducky17R.  It differs from the standard Ducky 17 by increased sail area and the presence of a main traveller.  When needed, you can easily convert the standard version to the racing version and vice versa. Additionally, an asymmetric spinnaker – gennaker can be installed on this catamaran.  It is an effective sail for downwind courses. An outboard engine with a power of up to 3.3 hp can also be installed on the catamaran.  An additional motor bracket is attached to the aft beam to mount such an engine.
